It’s been a great start to the new year, with the launch of our very popular low-carb empanadas (our supplier is doing their best to keep up with your orders! 😅) and some great keto-friendly products coming your way very soon (including low-carb pasta flour, clean keto curry sauces and low-carb chapattis).
The cost of our flour and baked goods
2022 has brought with it an increase in the cost of produce across the UK and unfortunately, this has also come knocking at our door.
Due to a significant increase in the cost of the raw ingredients in our special low-carb flour, we have had to take the difficult decision to increase the price of some of our baked goods from March 1st, 2022. The price increase will vary depending on the products, but will likely rise between 5–10%. We’re letting you know now as we wanted to give you a chance to stock up on your favourite low-carb baked goods before the change comes into effect next week.
These are already premium products compared to high-carb equivalents, so we understand that this will be difficult for some. Remember: the cost of our products reflects the cost to us as a business to source the ingredients and make them.
Rest assured, we’re working hard to reduce these costs in the longer term and make our products more accessible to everyone on our mission to make it easy to adopt a low-carb lifestyle. This is simply a bit of a setback. We hope you understand 🙏 As always, we are committed to providing you with the best quality, low-carb and keto products on the market, and we massively appreciate your continued support.
Improved deliveries
Thankfully, it’s not all bad news. As mentioned in our new year update, our relationship with DPD is blossoming, and we’re now sending most of our frozen deliveries with them. This brings with it a host of benefits to you, including:
- Clear notifications and the ability to notify the courier of a safe place to leave your parcel (if you’re not in).
- 1-hour delivery window notification on the morning of your scheduled delivery.
- Full tracking information, so you can know where your parcel is every step of the way.
